This was a unplanned cruise, A couple of members from the NSW FPV / Tickford Car Club were in town and Adrian thought we would do the "Tourist in your own town" and show them the south coast. 10 Club Cars plus our two visitors left the Kurralta Park K-Mart and headed south via Cape Jervis, Victor and Goolwa. A short detour via the Myponga Reservoir found a really nice dirt road, glad we took the time to wash the cars.

We carried on through Yankalilla to Normanville and then along the coast road to Cape Jervis. A Drink / Ice Cream / Toilet break later (and time to watch the KI Ferry dock) we hit the road again heading towards Victor. We are used to strange and irregular happenings on our cruises but to be stopped in the middle of the road by a flock of sheep - well you don’t see that every day! And it did make for an interesting photo shoot.

There was an extended lunch / afternoon in Victor to do the touristy bit, but I had to return a bit earlier so I’m not sure what time (and which way) the rest returned. I know that all had a great day, we should have more visitors so we can do another one. (Maybe in the Barossa)

Just a short note to say thanks for the day out organized by the Club, for our Club over on the Eastern side of the Country; We had a great day and would not have been able to see the areas and creatures we saw without the day out.

We wish we were not so far away so there could be more days like it, but driving 1450 kms in 1 day is just a bit much for some of them, as we left Monday morning and we were home Monday night. Tired but it was worth it for a Great Holiday.

Give us a call next time any of you come over here, but I understand living were you live, you wouldn't want to come over here and I don't blame you (We Love Adelaide)
