Arrived at Caltex Boliver about 7.15am where most members were already waiting. We left at 7.50 amid the misty rain and came across our first obstacle of the day - a huge pipe for a wind tower on the back of a semi trailer - no speeding past the police escort.

We arrived at the circuit where Trent was waiting outside, filed into our car park where we set up the tents due to the odd shower or two or three etc etc.

Drivers briefing was at 10.00 for those doing a lap of the track. At about 11.30am all the Ford clubs went out onto the circuit but only got to do one lap instead of the promised two due to time constraints.

We had 10 cars in total - 3 Silver, 2 Red, 1 Yellow, 1 Black, 1 Blue, 1 Green and 1 Orange - A good range of colours and models -1 EF , 3 AU’S, 4 GTs, 1 PURSUIT UTE and 1 TS50.

All in all not a bad day weather wise. It wasn’t as cold as last time at the Konicas - I only needed one jumper instead of two. The BRUTES were living up to their reputation with a little biff and barge, more exciting than the Konicas - Altogether not a bad weekend.
