Minlaton Show 'n' Shine | Previous | 2004 Event Stories | Next |

On Sunday, 02 May, the Tickford / FPV Club held an outing to the Minlaton Show and Shine. Meeting place was Bolivar Caltex Petrol Station around 0715 - you could imagine how early you would have to get out of bed if you had to travel a long distance to get there. Anyway, once as many people had arrived as possible on this rainy day we headed on our way.
While we were on our way over, we were so involved in the cruise that we missed the Minlaton turn-off - that's alright a quick u-turn solved the problem (HMMM Sounds familiar doesn't it!! ED)
When we arrived at Minlaton, we had a choice of entering the cars in the show and shine, well we all did. I was happy to be included since this was my first club run and the first Show & Shine I had entered the car in. All the members were very helpful.
Overall it was a great day and it was good to see our own club member Scott Lament win a trophy for Best Wheels & Tyres on his AU XR6.
