What is RSS RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a convenient way to receive updates from websites. Using an RSS-aware program, known as a Feed Reader or Aggrigator, you can subscribe to a Websites RSS Feed. When the Webmaster updates the RSS Feed, your Feed Reader will automatically download and display the information. What do I need to subscribe to RSS Feeds? To subscribe to RSS Feeds you will need a Feed Reader or Aggrigator. There are many free Feed Readers available for download on the Internet, but you may need to try a few to find one you like, or you can use the Feed Reader built into the latest version of Internet Explorer 7. How do I subscribe to an RSS Feed? Firstly not all websites offer RSS Feeds. Those that do will usually display an image such as When you find an RSS Feed that you want to subscribe to, right click on the image or RSS link and select copy shortcut. Start up your RSS reader and follow the applications instructions to add a new RSS Feed. When prompted for the address or URL of the new feed, right click in the field and select paste.
